Hello Everyone!

The tax time is just around the corner!   I hope everyone had a wonderful 2011 both tax-wise, and more importantly, lifestyle wise; spent with happy moments with family, friends and you all are in a better position now than one year ago.

2011 was a year that was very good to me.   It was very busy, but in a very good way.   I married my college sweetheart Jamie Lee on August 27.   Our first four months of marriage have been bliss.   We packed up our things and moved far, far away from Oshkosh (all the way up to Neenah!).   We also spent a week in Cancun, Mexico for our honeymoon.   It was both of our first times out of the country, and we had a wonderful experience.

On an accounting note, I also passed all four sections of my CPA exams.   That is good news for me; and good news for all of you!   The first season of Tax Relaxer was a very fun and rewarding experience.   I look forward to another fun and successful year, which is only attained through the business supplied by all of you.   This tax season I’m not going to focus as hard on attaining new customers (although new customers are always welcome!) as much as I am going to focus on current customers.

I am going to rent out the same office space I had last year.   If you have not seen it yet, I encourage you to come down and see the nice office on 404 N. Main St. in downtown Oshkosh.   Please set up an appointment first!   I will be there unusual hours on account of my full-time day job in Appleton.

I am going to be purchasing my accounting software in the next couple of weeks, and will be mailing out tax organizers shortly thereafter.   If you have any tax questions, or would like to get an early start on your tax returns this year, please let me know and we will do everything we can to get your returns complete and finished with plenty of time to spare before the April 17 deadline this year (because of a holiday in Washington D.C., Emancipation Day, the deadline has been extended again).
